Donnée au XI siècle à l’abbaye de Lessay par son fondateur Turstin Halduc, l’église date en grande partie du XIIIe siècle mais a été forte-ment remaniée comme le prouve à l’intérieur de la nef les grandes arcades gothiques d’un bas-côté disparu. Le clocher date probablement de la restau-ration de l’édifice au XVsiècle, l’église est alors dédiée à Sainte Radegonde dont la fête coïncide avec la fin de la Guerre de Cent ans.

L’église renferme trois retables remarquables en pierre, du XVII siècle.

In the 11^th Century, the church’s founder, Turstin Halduc, gave this church, dedicated to St. Radegonde in commemoration of the battle of Formigny that ended the 100 Years’ War, to the Abbey in Lessay. The architecture is 13^th Century, considerably reworked, as can be seen inside, and the steeple is probably 15^th Century.

Inside: three fine 17 thCentury stone altarpieces.  Radegonde (†587), Merovingian queen turned nun, nursed lepers and is associated with

the healing of skin disease.
