As the saying goes: Every black cloud trail has a cache at the top. Posted coordinates are for a cairn at the turn point from the ascent to the ridge trail. Final is MM yards ENE of the cairn, in a small rock shelter. There are MM months in a year.
The magnetic declination at this location is about 9 degrees east. For a 60 deg true heading, your compass needle will point to 69 deg, almost exactly ENE on a 16 point compass.
Be prepared for high-altitude hiking, exposure, etc. Cache elevation = 4125 m, 13530 ft. Be sure to visit the other caches along the ridge to Mt Elbert now that you’ve made the climb.
