The park is called Shin Nakagawa Dosui Kinen Park.
It is very quiet and relaxing.
There are also several park benches and usually people are sleeping here.
There is a monument to Nakagawa Hosuirodosui Kinen.
The park is very nice, and so is the regular sized camouflaged geocache.
Enjoy the river, the view, the breeze, and the geocaching.
Please bring a pen and some goodies to drop off into the cache (yes it is that big!)
新中川通水記念公園
中川放水路(新中川)に通水されて中川下流域の洪水対策が成ったのが1963年ですが、中川と放水路の分岐点の先端に小さな公園が設けられています。
記念碑のための公園といっていいかもしれませんが、この公園は放水路の意義と歴史を知っておいてもらうのがいちばんの狙いでしょうから、こういう公園でいいんでしょうね。
キャッシュはレギュラーサイズなのでおもちゃなどが沢山入れられますよ。
