Geocache Description:

Takasago Hachiman Jinja is locatred in Katsushika area along the Nakagawa River. The year the shrine was built is unknown. There are some other smaller shrines here as well, and they appear to be ruins. It is a nice place on your route.

高砂八幡神社は葛飾区高砂にある八幡神社です。高砂八幡神社の創建年代は不詳ですが、当地が曲金、細田両村の間に挟まれた新宿町の飛地で字諏訪野と呼ばれる地であったことから、この飛地の氏神として創建したものではないかといいます。
