This Cache is half way between the Public Carpark and another cache near Devil's Pulpit View point ( GCGACR ) and will hopefully keep smaller cachers interested as it’s over a mile from the carpark to the Viewpoint.
We did this walk as a family a little while ago and after a long walk (we started at the other end) our children’s enthusiasm started to fade and they kept asking why there weren’t more caches on route. Knowing the landowner we thought it was the ideal opportunity to place our first cache here.
During the recent improvements along a section of the Offa’s Dyke path and around the Viewpoint those doing the works decided to install a kissing gate at the cache location with the intention of removing the stile which you will see is very old, Both the Landowner and PROW refused to let this happen so thankfully we still have this great part of history to cross.
