昔、武田信玄公が信州で戦った時のこと、そこにあったお地蔵様を甲州に移そうと、お地蔵様に縄をかけて引いてきました。ところが若神子の正覚寺の前まで来てどうにも動かなくなってしまいました。今でも、お地蔵様の背中には縄のあとだといわれるくぼみがあるそうです。いつの項からか、身体の具合が悪いところとお地蔵様の同じところに味噌をぬってお祈りをすれば、病気が治るといわれ、それからは、味噌なめ地蔵というようになりました。今でも、お地蔵様には、味噌がたくさんぬられています。
歴史的にも貴重な大事な物です。味噌を塗る時も大切に扱ってください。 キャッシュは地蔵や、屋根には設置していません。壊したりしないように注意してください。 ペンをお持ちください。
