Secluded in Silver Lake Multi-Cache

Silver Lake State Park has always intrigued me so a few weeks ago I went to hiking it to see what I could find. I found this great area of open hardwoods with a little stream that runs through it. Everybody should know by now that I am partial to a woodland stream so I decided to share this little area with a four part multicache. You will start your journey at a little parking area that the state keeps mowed that looks like it may have been a residence at one time. As you walk through the area you will see remnants of pastures and fields that used to be worked. I even spotted an old plow point in one area. The final will be a 50 cal ammo can filled with swag. Please rehide all the parts of this cache the same way that I have them to make it fun for the the next cacher. Even though there are signs up that say no hunting I did see spent shotgun shells and pails and crates used as sitting spots so it would be best to wear your orange during the appropriate times.

This cache was an event cache for the Cook Your Own Dog event that was held in Silver Lake State Park. There will be two FTFs because of this. The first one from the event is Paleoman52. The FTF prize is a limited edition rare unactivated Diary of a Wimpy Kid trackable. Please do not take the tag unless you plan on activating and moving it into a cache.
