Geocache Description:

After being replaced too many times, this is no longer an easy magnetic micro. It is now in the usual place you would find a cache tube in this type of spot.

Those who know us will understand the title right away. This street has been named after our family. My Grandfather owned the property between the cache and the lakeshore you can see, from here to, just past, the yacht harbour. He acquired the land by doing odd chores for the older ladies who owned the land and paid in in property. After some years, he built 4 cottages where the yacht harbour now stands and began to rent them to tourists, while supplementing his carpentry, guiding, trapping occupations. The gravel pits were supplied local truckers with gravel for building and beaches and, eventually, the road north out of Buckhorn, adding to his income. Over the years, most of the land was sold as cottage lots along the lakeshore, and now, where the gravel pits were, is Granite Ridge housing.
