This cache is in memory of my beloved Grandma, Edith Turner (8/11/1923 - 8/2/2014).
The title refers to two things. When I was small I went with my Grandparents on holiday. All the way from York to Dumfries Grandma sat in the back of the car and played "shops" with me. I sold her the tomatoes so many times they were mush by the time we arrived! The stew part comes from the fact that us four grandchildren all loved her casserole - she sometimes got called "Granny Casserole"!
The cache is along the Basingstoke Canal, filling in a gap between caches, so should provide a lovely string of finds if you are after a long walk. Ripe for a good marching song (Grandma taught me "Left, left, I had a good job and I left, and it served me jolly well... right! left!").
Clip lock container in camoflage. Initially containing FTF geocoin, Shropshire (where Gran was born) trackable and some swag.
