You can get here from the campers beach parking, the campground itself, or from the Second Lake boat launch parking area. You choose your direction of travel.
Wow, the wonders of nature! This cache shows what can happen in the forest. Firstly a tree died, then fell over, hitting a rock, causing the top of a rock (cracked area) to shift. We thought this spot was quite unique - at least for now. You can reach the cache without leaving the trail, in fact if you leave the trail, you are probably off from our ground zero.
Coords were really bouncy this day, so average of a number of readings of two different models of GPS was used. Remember don't leave the trail.
