mellers: It seems that unfortunately, this is no longer a location where geocachers are welcome. Shame... but I really have no choice but to archive this one now.

Geocache Description:

This puzzle cache is the fifth of a series of themed puzzles in the area. The cache is not at the posted co-ordinates, so it won't help you to go there. Solve the puzzle below to find out the location of the cache container; a 35mm-sized pot.

  • Person X was born in Manchester.
  • Person X spent a very short time on a famous street in that area.
  • Person X had diverse natural individual talents, but gained most fame (and fortune) as part of a team of 4.
  • Person X had a life-long love of horses and at one time was on course to become a successful jockey.
  • Person X admitted that their one big regret was not going back to horse racing immediately after finishing the career for which they are most famous.
  • Person X had a home in Hampshire for at least 15 years, in two locations during their lifetime; Bedhampton and Droxford.
  • Person X spent the last 15 years of their life in America.
  • Person X was married 3 times and had 4 daughters.
  • Person X died at their Florida ranch.

Once you've identified who this is, check the usual sources for their dates of birth and death in the following format:
D.O.B. dd/mm/yyyy = AB/CD/EFGH
D.O.D. dd/mm/yyyy = JK/LM/NPQR

You'll find the cache at N 50° GK.KRA W 000° H (K-C).(D+N)K(F-A)

This is perhaps a bit trickier than previous FHR puzzles. While person X is undeniably famous, evidence of their life in Hampshire is not well-documented in all the usual places. You might have to delve deep with your research. So to keep this puzzle in line with the others in terms of difficulty, there is another clue to this person's identity somewhere on the cache page.
