Basic Description:
Letterboxing has been around long before Geocaching was, it's basic premise was that you go to an area and are given clues on where to go to find it. The basic letterbox included a stamp pad, a rubber stamp of the owners choosing, and a logbook for other letterboxers to put their personal stamp in. I hope you enjoy this Letterbox Hybrid geocache.
The Entrance coordinates place you on Cemetery Ave in Menands, this is the entrance way for 2 Cemeteries,
1) Albany Rural Cemetery (closest entrance to their office)
2) St. Agnes Cemetery: This is the only way to get in without going thorugh Albany Rural.
There has been some confusion how to get into the cemetery, please enter via Cemetery Ave in Menands, which is off Broadway.
Here is how I got to the coordinates Start at the Entrance waypoint drive straight 0.3 mi. When you go cross the Railroad Tracks turn left into St. Agnes Cemetery. When you have a choice between going left, right or straight Go Straight between the Medal of Honor plaque and Section 31 sign, go to the next intersection Turn Left, after turning left go to the next intersection there will be a Large Angel on top of a stone with "Thatcher" kiddie corner from you, Turn Left. Go straight until you see a "Dogs must be leashed at all times" sign on your right. Make a Left U turn, so that you pass a women hanging off of a cross on your right. Go straight until you see A Blue and Yellow Historical sign of Edmund Winslow, take your final left, when you enter the circle you can park,(The drive from Entrance to circle should be about 1.0 mi.) You've reached the coords
