Anyone who knows me in 'real life' (whatever that is?) will be aware that I'm always up for climbing something. I always have been since my early days. When I spotted this tree, I knew it needed a geocache in it.
Please be confident that you can descend as well as ascend.
The tree is about 5 meters off the footpath. The cache is small, so please bring something to write with.
You are unlikely to be able to spot it from the ground, but there really is only one tree to climb at the co-ordinates! If you drop the log container, please retrieve it and replace.
I did not use any special equipment to set this cache, but you may choose to use some including ropes for safety.
As usual, if you're attempting something like this do not go alone. Or if you do, at least tell someone where you're going.
Note: Please play fair to the spirit of this cache and only log it if you climbed the tree all the way to the cache and signed your own name. I will be checking regularly as the cache is within a few minutes of home. I'd love to see pictures in your log entries.
