(NO) Alta Lufthavn (ALF) ble åpnet 3. mai 1963, samtidig med Kirkenes lufthavn og Lakselv lufthavn. Dagens terminalbygg ble tatt i bruk 25. august 2009.
Cachen er i Altagårdsskogen, like ved flyplassen. Den er en sylinderformet beholder på ca 0,7 liter, og det er plass til noen tb og coins, dersom de ikke er for stor. Cachen henger i et tre, og er derfor tilgjengelig hele året.

(ENG) Alta Airport (ALF) was opened on 3 May 1963 at the same time as Kirkenes Airport and Lakselv Airport. The current terminal became operational on 25 August 2009.
The cache is in the forest Altagårdsskogen, close to the airport. It is a cylindrical container of about 0.7 liters, and there is room for some tb and coins, if they are not too large. The cache hanging in a tree, and is therefore available at all seasons.
