Freterolles Traditional Cache

This cache is at the end of a short walk to Freterolles, a lovely mountain side restuarant up the mountain beyond the Lac des Mines d'Or. Freterolles is only accessible by foot and a beautiful alpine hike. The restuarant is open for the Plat du Jour which is basic but excellent local cuisine.

This geocache is a short walk from Freterolles about 20 metres from the wooden cross in a rocky outcrop. Beware of the local ladder snakes which like to hide in the rocks but don't worry they are non-venemous..
