[ITA] Le sorgenti del Piave si trovano a 2037 m s.l.m. alle pendici del monte Peralba. Il fiume Piave ha una lunghezza di 231 km ed è per questo il quinto fiume d'Italia per lunghezza. Il suo corso si estende intermente all'interno dei confini del Veneto e sfocia nel mare Adriatico tra Eraclea e Jesolo. E' considerato fiume sacro alla Patria, in virtù degli avvenimenti storici accaduti sulle sue sponde durante la prima guerra mondiale.

[ENG] The headwaters of Piave are at 2037 m s.l.m. at the foot of Mount Peralba. The Piave River has a length of 231 km and that is the fifth-longest river in Italy. His course extends entirely within the boundaries of the Veneto region and flows into the Adriatic Sea between Eraclea and Jesolo. It's considered sacred river to the country, by virtue of the historical events that occurred on its banks during the First World War.
