Geocache Description:

This is a nice quiet trail, graveled for the most part. Several points of access, the cache may be approached from several direction, although from the south is best. Full trail has some stairs and small roots to step over. You are looking for a large ammo box.

What a wonderfull quiet hike, the trail can be as short or long as you wish depending on the direction of access and how long you want to hike. Sometimes, I find it best to just spring into these projects and see what happens. Since I live near a lake this just made sense. Of course when you get there, you will want to open the box and log your visit, perhaps even use the camera and snap a photo of your group (clothing optional of course). It is amazing to find a large space like this that is so quiet and peacefull. If you hike in as a group, be sure no one falls behind and misses the find! Oh I know what you will think, you have seen one tree you have seen them all. But, that is just not the case.

This hike is full of many wild flowers and plants. If you can spot and properly name any, please place the name in the log and enjoy a widget from inside the box.

When searching for and replacing the cache, be thoughtfull of the environment and don't break branches, disturb logs, etc. Please try to disguise the box as best you can with what is around.

GPS signals may be spotty, in fact it would be interesting to log your GPS results in the log. Take bearings when you have a good signal and pace that direction. Several points along the path have good open sky.
