GeoCaching takes me back to my childhood with the fascination of treasure hunting. Today is International Geocaching Day. In celebration, I have placed a cache along the coast to honor a treasure hunting character in one of my favorite movies from my childhood. One Eyed Willy from Goonies. In the spirit of One Eyed Willy, I've crafted a rhyme to guide you from your starting point to the treasure trove.
I'll give you warning again, please only attempt this if you are confident in your climbing ability and physical condition!
That being said, it's a fun climb and a great, unobstructed view of the bay. At any rate, on to the treasure hunting! Here are your clues:
Come and sit with me, behind this lonesome tree.
While beside the bay, fingers will point the way.
Two will show, where next you'll go.
At the wall of rock, you haven't far to walk.
Make a turn to port, and the last leg is short.
A door you'll see, with sides of three.
This is a log only cache, so BYOP, and as always please replace exactly as you found it so others can enjoy the fun as well. Good hunting!
