Let me tell a little bit about Road Graders. This one was pulled by what was known as a ‘crawler’ tractor it pulled it along while someone was standing on the flatform and controlled it. The top wheel was the steeling wheel that changed the angle of the front wheels , the middle wheel controlled the circle blade. The two big wheels on each side change the angle of the blade. The Back handle crank changed the angle of the back wheels. The part that attached to the crawler tractor has been removed but it’s in front of the road grader a few feet away. Best I can tell that the road grade is pre-1920. It’s truly amazing how our forefathers built our roads with these machines. (The statement may or may not be correct)
I do have permission from the owner to hide the cache here but PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB ON ANY OF THE MACHINEY HERE FOR FUN OR LOOKING FOR THE CACHE!!!
A little bit about what you are looking for, the reason why you are here, the thrill of finding that cache container, that smiley you will get on your map page. The thrill of knowing you did it, you found it, or did you, was it easy, was it hard, how big is it, how little is it, do I bring my own pen, or is there one here. How long did it take me to find it, oh no look at the muggles, or did you get in here and out before even one car passed by.. where oh where are you … oh there you are…walking away with one big smile on your face.
Down to business now, you are looking for small container with log only. So bring you own pen. Please pay attention where and how you found it and place it back exactly like you found it.Do not hide it in a different spot even if you think it's better somewhere else. I like it here so Happy caching!!! Stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings. Park within feet of the cache. Any problems please let me know so I can fix right away!
Congratulations to Guwisti and TDx2 for FTF, good job.
