Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the prefectural road 17. The road was built in 1616 by Toshitsune Maeda who was the local lord of Kaga-han. It was from Miyanokoshi to the Kanazawa castle. So, the road was called Miyanokoshi-Okan. (Okan means avenue.) Please bring your pen.

キャッシュは石川県の県道１７号金沢港線沿いにあります。古くは１６１６年に加賀藩三代目藩主前田利常が宮腰から金沢城のある城下町までを結ぶ往還を作り上げたので宮腰往環と呼ばれていました。この往還は前田利常が金沢城から見渡すかがり火が一直線上になるように線引きしたとされています。筆記具を持参ください。
