Bicentennial Road Katherine is an established heavy vehicle alternative route for northbound traffic heading west and southbound traffic travelling from the east. It is well serviced by locals, using it to travel from Katherine east to Victoria Highway where one of the industrial areas are. Bicentennial Road also includes a number of local sporting clubs, businesses and a local small indigenous community.
This cache is a well camoflaged micro placed near Yarramin Park, the Katherine Horse and Pony Club grounds. The club has been active since the 1960’s and seeks to encourage young people to safely enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. There is plenty of room to get well off the road so you can safely let the kids out for a hunt!
