Geocache Description:

This is part of the power trail down Bicentennial Road.

Bicentennial Road Katherine is an established heavy vehicle alternative route for northbound traffic heading west and southbound traffic travelling from the east. It is well serviced by locals, using it to travel from Katherine east to Victoria Highway where one of the industrial areas are. Bicentennial Road also includes a number of local sporting clubs, businesses and a local small indigenous community.

 

The cache is a small clip top container placed near the Katherine Motor Cross track. The Katherine Off Road Motorcycle Sports Club provides a safe place for youngsters to learn the art of motocross racing. Other than the fast flowing motocross track they also have an endurance loop and a flat track on which to test your skills.

 

There is plenty of room to get well off the road so you can safely let the kids out for a hunt!
