Last Chance Summer Sundae Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email through my profile), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Who's up for one last scoop of summertime ice cream?  Who wants to get in one more lick of summer?

Let's meet at Cold Stone in Cary Crossroads from 9PM-10PM and enjoy one last taste of the season together.

Even though summer technically ends on September 21, Labor Day has always felt like the end of summer to me. Growing up in the north, Labor Day weekend always symbolized the end of summer. We didn't go back to school in mid-August. We started the week after Labor Day. Even college didn't start until after Labor Day. Labor Day was the weekend you packed up and went home from the beach. Labor Day weekend was when you parents took you shopping for those last minute supplies or new clothes. And Labor Day itself felt like one more bonus day of summer to moms and dads who didn't have to go to work on Monday too. That's especially important for those of us who have been away for the weekend. And one last chance to snag that Socializer Souvenir if you have managed to avoid all of the other events taking place this summer.
