There are some moderately steep sections of trail, but it should be OK for people of average fitness. Good trails all the way, but strollers & bikes definitely not recommended.
This cache can be approached from several different trailheads. It is at least 1 1/2 miles from the nearest, so you are looking at at least 3 miles there and back. Can also be done as a 4 1/2 mile loop, if you prefer not to retrace your steps.
Great views along the way, and lots of oaks so there are some shady spots to rest on a hot day.
Watch out for poison oak, rattlesnakes and ticks.
The cache is named after the Talepop Trail which runs through this area. 7000 years ago there was a Chumash village called Talepop to the south of this area (close to the ''Life is Paramount'' cache). And... no I don't know how ''Talepop'' is pronounced!
Items to be added must be smaller than 4 inches by 11 inches. The initial contents of this cache are shown in the earliest (bottom) log entry.
