While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

Cache ved vannbassenget på toppen ved Teiebanene. FTF premie er en micro cache container, plasser den gjerne i nærheten.

Cache by the watertower on the top next to Teie footballfield. FTF prize is a micro cache container, place it nearby if you'd like.

Vanntårnet på teie er lenge blitt brukt som et lerret av grafittikunstnere som ønsker å male i fred. Til tross for at det står at det ikke er lov å tagge på stedet. Vanntårnet ble bygget i 1932. Akkurat nå er mye av grafittien fjernet, men til vanlig er det mange flotte kunstverk å se på her oppe. Området skal visst være overvåket for å unngå grafitti. Cachen er ikke innenfor gjerder eller stengsler.

Teie watertower has been a spot for grafitti artist for decades. The tower is usually covered in grafitti, but now it is "temporarily" been cleaned. The sign on the wall says: Grafitti prohibited. The tower was built in 1932. Video surveillance to inhibit grafitti artists from tagging. The cache is not placed inside fences/closed areas.
