Formerly a quiet private waterfront area, East Beach is undergoing a drastic transformation to an upscale public recreational park, with soft sand, splash pad, restrooms, and paved walkways. The former cottages and single-family homes will be replaced by classy condos, and the great new playground is likely to attract many families both from Bowmanville and out of town. There is still much work to be done and construction is likely to be ongoing for some time, but the major excavation and reshaping of the beachfront area is now done, and is accessible to the public. There are some great rocks for climbing or sitting on by the water, and I couldnt resist putting out a cache that would be fun for families who might come to enjoy the park!
This cache will require a bit of climbing and either a small body or long arms. ;) There is a TB to move along, and some fun trade items.
