A long but easy walk on an infrequently traveled path.
UPDATE: The cache has moved to avoid any hint of trespassing. Please park at recommended coordinates!
The Cache: The cache is a large blackened tupperware container just off the path containing only glass items. The container does NOT seal well, so please make sure you put it back upright. It began filled with 14 wine glasses donated by my mother and a logbook. Please bring only something made of glass to be exchanged, do not leave any McCache items. The container is well hidden, please make sure it stays that way after you leave as it is so close to the path.
The Hike: It is a nice walk ways (just over 1 mile round trip) from the non law-breaking parking spot at 42 deg 12.663 N, 84 deg 26.390 W. The hike is very easy along what used to be a railroad bed whose rails have been removed. It is the extension of the Jackson intercity bike trail, but the pavement ends near where you park. Therefore on your hike you will be joined only by birds, gophers, and chipmunks.
