The church was officially formed in 1672 the year John Bunyan obtained a licence to preach. Prior to John Bunyan obtaining this license, the church was 'underground' and named 'The Maulden Meeting'.
Obviously the building here doesn't date for so far back but sadly I can't find any further information on the history of the building or church. If anyone has anymore please let me know.
