A beautiful hike up here in July, when the wildflowers are in bloom, and rugged, captivating views all year round. This is part of the Pacific Crest Trail, and this section begins at the Sonora Pass parking lot. Picture was taken standing on the trail just above the cache, which is just a few feet off the trail and in the last tree in the grove.
