Fire & Water is a cache that is sponsored by the Manson Fire Department to promote Fire Education, Safety & Awareness. Being that the cache, and Fire Department, are both located accross the street from Manson Bay, this is the water component. The cache contains fun items and little collectables provided by Manson Fire Department.
When you are at the Fire Station, you are on Manson Bay. Across from the Station is Manson Bay Swim Park. Just down from this is a little park that is affectionately known locally as the Dog Park because it is pet friendly. If there is someone available at the Fire Station, you may be able to get a tour of the station and trucks. This cache is located away from the fire station, on the edge of the parking lot. It is in an area that is shaded part of the day. The cache is also at eye level for most adults. Have fun Cacheing! NOTE: Please DO NOT park in front of any of the fire department bay doors! Also, because of the electrical in the ground and the surrounding walls, GPS is not always dead on, but gets you in the area, usually within 20 feet. Location was set from Google Earth Map for this reason.
