The Serpentine Way Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jdevor: After over 11 years, it looks like I need to archive this cache (my only Chinese cache).
The local maintainer tells me that GZ has been renovated and there's no way the cache can be restored.
Oh well. It had a good run.

Geocache Description:

A Nice Easy Cache (NEC) hidden a short distance off the main walking path, in the forest of Fragrant Hills park.

This is my first (and likely only for a long while) physical cache in China. After magic_snake kindly invited me to join him, his family and some friends on an afternoon hike and Geocaching in the park, I felt that this is the least I could do to say "thank you".

We reached this location at the end of our trip, after we descended and snaked down a long serpentine path. The top of the path is apparently still paved with the original stones, laid hundreds of years ago. But further down the stones were replaced with modern look-alikes, and at the bottom with simple bricks.

The cache container is a small green plastic bottle (a large micro). It has room only for the smallest TBs and swag. Bring your own pen.
