St Michael's church lies in splendid isolation almost 3/4 of a mile to the east of the village and accessed by a sandy track. The church is a typical date for Norfolk, 13th century and in the Perpendicular style. The attractive feature of the church is its use of the local carr-stone and umber sandstone that gives a warm glow in evening sunshine
