This used to be a popular picnic spot when we were children, it was eventually closed due to constant vandalism...now a tranquil spot along the river
Many geocachers are reporting that the coordinates are pointing to the other side of the river.....this is incorrect...you DO NOT need to cross the river to retrieve the cache.
The trail to get to the cache is a public footpath. It is normally fairly easy to walk, but can get quite muddy after lots of rain. not suitable for wheelchairs.
Suitable for geo pooches.
cache is a medium sized container with log book.
Take a pen and a camera.
