I always wondered why no one had placed a cache here. Across the road there is a shed and it has a few Blitz in it. I saw that one was registered with club plates, the other might be undergoing repair and yet another in front of the old school is really old and just for show atm it would seem. The sign said it is the Clintonvale State School. I have found out it was opened on the 22nd of July 1907 and closed 31st of December 2001.
To find the cache you will need to use the information you will find in the park. There is a sign and a cairn. Use the information you find on the sign and on the cairn direction marker to work out where to final hide is.
the cache can be found at
S 28 A.BCD
E 152 E.FFG
where
A = Mt Dumaresq
B = Last number inthe year Cunningham found the Darling Downs
C = Glengalleon Creek
D = 1st number for Spicers Gap
E = month Clintonvale State School opened.
FF = Ipswich both numbers
G = add together Warwick
should be an easy work out for you.
BEWARE we were dive bombed by a magpie on our second visit here.
