Bicentennial Road Katherine is an established heavy vehicle alternative route for northbound traffic heading west and southbound traffic travelling from the east. It is well serviced by locals, using it to travel from Katherine east to Victoria Highway where one of the industrial areas are. Bicentennial Road also includes a number of local sporting clubs, businesses and a local small indigenous community.
The cache is a micro hidden near the sign post to the small indigenous community here on Bicentennial Road. Although known by many as Warlpiri its real name is Geyulkgan Ngurra in the local dialect.
There is plenty of room to get well off the road but please watch the kids as this is a little closer to the road than the others.
