This cache is located on one of the walking tracks around the Berwick Springs lakes, the lake is in one of the newer estates in Berwick and is a haven for native birds, while placing the cache I saw Pelicans, Eurasian Coots, ducks and many more. There are playgrounds, walking and running tracks and picnic facilities at the lake for your pleasure. We tend to mainly come here when we are called out to rescue some of our native birds that have come in contact with us humans and ended up the worse for wear from their encounter. It is a great spot to visit.
The location I have chosen is a low muggle area, but they can sneak up on you quite quickly so just be careful.
We have chosen to make it a letter box Hybrid, as there are none in the local area, and think it would be great to have one for the many cachers around here. As such there is a stamp within the cache to stamp your personal log book, and if you have a stamp please stamp the log book in the cache. If you don't have a stamp either sign or just draw a picture of what you would have on your stamp.
Please do not remove the stamp.
The container is a 2 Litre Sistema, so has heaps of room for swaps or your larger trackables. It is not a difficult hide, more to bring you to this nice lake.
Why "Z", well not only don't we have a Letter Box hybrid locally, but when doing a Alphabet challenge we had all letters accept "Z", and the nearest one is some 30 Kilometres away, therefore a "Z" in the area we now have, not that it helps us with our challenge, but it will hopefully help other local cachers.
