This geocache is definately a unique find, not the cache itself, but the location. Located near a lonely farming hamlet named `Herlen' which belongs to the nearby village of Wissant, this path, along with many others snaking their way through this hilly location, is certainly a rural route, compared to the more walked paths surrounding the tall, majestic, Mont De Couple. Being just above 160 metres in altitude, the Mont de Couple is a sight that can clearly be seen even from the fairly distant villages of Tardinghen and Leubringhen, both in different directions. In terms of the geocache itself, the journey to retrieve the cache is indeed not along a simple gravelled path, but a path filled largely with roots. Additionally, there is also a steep clalk pathway that decends steeply if walking from the Mont de Couple direction, which could also prove those less able, to find some difficulty in accessing the path. No matter what season, this route always presents a different view, with a variation of crops and sometimes even snow!
Hope you enjoy this location as much as I do and happy caching!
