Fist established in 1851 on Maunakea street in modern day Chinatown, renamed The British Club, relocated to Union Street, it moved to this location, next to the oldest school in Hawaii (Royal Elementary) in 1926. Apparently, It is the oldest club of its kind in the US, west of the Mississippi.
