Geocache Description:

Another Single Capital Letter for a series of caches I have been putting out.  This time we have the Capital "Q" and you are looking for a small cache along the trail with great views of North Fork.

Congratulations to wrench0613 for a successful FTF

Why did I select this spot for Q, well there are many Questions that need to be answered.

This cache is not a Mystery Cache because it is some brain teasing puzzle, no instead it is a puzzle because of Owner’s lack of brains.

  1. Where is the cache?
  2. What happened to the coordinates?
  3. What side of the trail is it on?
  4. Was it the 1st switchback or the 3rd?
  5. What was the coin I put in the Cache?
  6. How many feet from the switchback was it placed?
  7. Are there any clues along the way?
  8. What was the Elevation of the Cache?
  9. If you find it will you send me the correct coordinates?

It was a long day and a great hike.  I was looking for places all day to put a cache, it was on the way down when I decided I just need to lighten my load and pick a spot.  There are very few places to find shade and with the temp. 94 I remember stopping by this big pine to soak in the shade.  It was a natural hiding spot and a great spot for a smaller cache.  I didn’t want to hike up any more so I put it on the downhill side of the trail.  It was a strange thing to see the elevation reading all the same number just below 9000ft.  I couldn’t wait to get home and post the 2 caches I had placed that day, but being exhausted I didn’t do it right away.  Instead I waited and life got busy, maybe another caching trip in between, but somewhere I lost my waypoint.  Luckily the Big Ben Revisited Cache that I put back out had been written down. Please Visit http://coord.info/GC5B93F.  I think I have given everything I can remember about this cache it is out there and so are the answers.  Good Luck and let me know how it goes.

The series of a Single Capital Letters of the Alphabet was started by my friend MarshallOD. He started putting out the letters along a ridge in Uintah after the placement of my Cache "What's above the U". He would put a couple letters out and I would play leap frog and put a letter out, he of course would always match until we topped out at the "Z". We had talked about a series of Letter to complete the Alphabet. I talked and of course Marshall followed through and started placing letters here and there. MarshallOD had an opportunity to go back to California and he jumped on it, leaving this series in limbo. Until recently a "Nessmuk" came out from hiding and put a "T" across from alphabet ridge.

Most of these caches have been adopted and are still in play Thanks to rocketsciguy family, railroader921, ultimaterockhound, and Nessmuk. I plan on finishing this series and of course a Challenge at the end of the series. The trick to most of these caches are you have to get there. Most of them will take on a long hike or a remote area, but I can Guarantee there will be adventure in them. Enjoy!!!!!!
