Permission for this cache was granted by MDC. This cache is not wheelchair friendly as their are ditches and tall weeds and trees to navigate through. You may park on the side of the road to grab this cache. Danube Ave. is a road that truly goes nowhere. It is a county road that once had a bridge that collapsed. The bridge was never repaired or replaced, for this reason, I would NOT recommend trying to drive down this road. However, since you are in the area, after you find the cache, if you want to see something interesting, continue east about a mile on county road 180, and on the left, you will see a house shaped like a stop sign. The entire house is a 3 story octogon. This rare design is one of the only ones in the state of Missouri and their are only a few in the entire country. Not something you see everyday. Please do not pull onto the property if you do choose to look at the house, as it is occupied and is private property... just admire from the road. Thank you.
