Can pigs really fly? Well in this case if they were flying they would have been shot down. Nothing else was shot down from here. On one side there was a slaughter house for pigs and cows. On the other side there is a mid-19th century cemetery. There was great fear that the German air force would attack the St. John Drydock. This heavy gun was located here in a permanent position to shoot down these aircraft if they attacked from the east.
