Prime Ministers Park is a beautiful open space located in the East hill area of Prince Alebrt. It consists of soccer fields, baseball diamonds, football field, and track fields. It is aptly named for the three Prime Ministers who had at one time called Prince Albert home.
Sir Wilfrid Laurier held the riding for a short time in 1896 after becoming Canada's first francophone prime minister.
William Lyon Mackenzie King stayed in the riding much longer. He was elected in 1926 and held the riding until 1945.
John George Diefenbaker, whose statue proudly stands in front of City Hall, held the seat from 1953 until his death in 1979.
