I've been wanting to place a cache in all the parks that have served us so well over the past few years, including this one. However, with Patriot's Path running right through this one, it was a bit more of a challenge.
The Ralston Recreation and Natural Area is a 48-acre tract that was acquired in the late 1960s. While much of the area is devoted to playing fields, a wooded portion extends almost half a mile along the North Branch of the Raritan River, offering an opportunity for short leisurely walks with a chance to observe abundant wildlife. The property also offers access to Patriots’ Path. (from http://inmendham.com/parktrails/pt.htm)
A short bushwhack may be required. Be stealthy, due to the nature of the potential muggle activity here. Plenty of parking near the playground.

Congratulations to swampland'r, Ragtime Fan, and Mrs. S on another FTF!
