This cache has been placed in memory of Matthew Goetzinger who lost his life in a tragic accident at this location on August 21, 2009. Matt was born on November 23, 1989 and was a graduate of Boonsboro High School. Matt was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, car fanatic and an excellent basketball player. Matt's favorite team was the Florida Gators. he was planning on eventually becoming a Navy Fighter Pilot. He is greatly missed by his family and all his friends.
