Sand Branch Cemetery Traditional Cache

Located along FM 2504 in Atascosa County, 3 miles northwest of the intersection with highway 173 in Kyote. This is an active church and cemetery, so please be respectful.

Sand Branch Cemetery

The cemetery is located next to Sand Branch Church¹ which, as my mother put it, was a real fire and brimstone Baptist congregation when she was a kid. Growing up, they would visit her grandparents who lived in the house at the intersection of 173 and FM 2504 in Kyote. On Sundays, they would come to this church. According to the historical marker at the church², it was named after a local creek and has been in use since 1870.
