Beecee's name, which was given to her by her previous family, comes from "bisse," which is a Lebanese Arabic word for "cat" (possibly derived from the ancient Egyptian cat goddes Bastet). She helped us raise half a dozen litters of foster kittens for the Western PA Humane Society, teaching them to grow up to be awesome cats. So we thought we would honor her service by placing a cache at the Humane Society. If you are there during open hours, you can go in and say hi to the cats (and dogs and rabbits and other animals) they have at the shelter.
There's parking in the shelter parking lot or on the street nearby, but you'll probably want to avoid this area around Steelers games or other big events at Heinz Field as parking will be tight and expensive.
(Cache placed with permission of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.)
Congratulations to Rooster6 for the FTF!
