Please join me in "caching your cares away." I invite you to follow my example and write a note in the log naming those you are logging this cache "In Memory Of" and "In Honor Of". You will find seating at the nearby gazebo and memorial garden - you are invited to take the cache over to this area for a comfortable place to write.
The cache contains items of significance to those I, and others in the congregation, have cares and concerns about. For example, a World Diabetes Day geocoin to honor several people living with this disease, plastic bracelets for various other diseases, such as Alzheimer's, which claimed both of my parents. Please feel free to take or leave similar items to help "cache away" your own cares.
This cache is hidden with permission of the St Luke's church council. They prefer that the cache be accessed during daylight hours, so as not to draw undue concern from neighbors or frighten those closing up the church following evening usage. Sunday church service begins at 10:30am and geocachers are most certainly welcome to attend. Please use parking spots and allow access to the recycling bins.
