The Duck Ponds located in Secunda are one of the highlights of the small refining town. It's nestled between quiet neighborhoods where a series of three dams make up a great place for birds (yes, including ducks) to thrive. A 6 km trail surrounds the ponds where people frequently walk their dog, run, or just chill and have a braai in the designated areas. During the summer in torrential rains, the ponds tend to flood, so be cautious when caching and bring the appropriate clothing.

You're looking for a small tube that can hold small items. PLEASE USE EXTRA STEALTH during the early evenings on weekdays and all day on the weekends as this park is popular. This is one of my favorite spots at the ponds to chill. It's great scenery next to the dam to have a braai. And at night, the fountains light up! I definitely recommend sitting around here just to admire the scenery.
