If you remember a few years back, you probably found our Not All Are Hallowed Series. We thought that would turn into a yearly thing with new caches and a new story each October. Life got in the way, but it's time to make a return.

The Series:
This is a series that's all about the story. If you're all about the finds, then just go get them. But for those who want the tale, each cache page and each cache location will have a part of the story to follow. The caches, in order, are listed below...start with The Grave. The final coords for The Cure can be found split among the other caches. Nothing in this series is really too graphic for kids to handle if they know anything about zombies. We recommend doing ALL BUT THIS cache after dark for more atmosphere. This cache is on park property and night caching is not allowed. NO NIGHT CACHING HERE

The Story:
Episode 3: Patient Zero

It hasn't been easy, but after a few months you've been able to track his movements to these woods. Taking samples of bodies at the grave site and comparing it to the serum, you found a marker specific to Leroy. Then, it took a lot of samples and branching out to get to this point, but you're here.

You're armed to the teeth and venture into the woods and the first thing you see is a sign. You walk quietly and take about 10 steps past the sign. Just then, you here some noises coming from the north and leave the path toward them.

Eventually, you come to a clearing in the woods. You look back and see you're roughly 400 feet from where you started. Clearings aren't ideal because if you're spotted by zombies, there isn't much cover to hide. It's a good thing you're not trying to hide at the moment. You keep moving north across the clearing along the easiest route. The brush thickens from here but you push forward and find yourself up a slight incline and back into the woods. There is a parking lot roughly 200 feet in front of you but there is no sign of whatever made the noise you heard. Looking around you find a scrap of white clothing on a tree to the west. Investigating, it looks like some of what Leroy was wearing at his funeral but you can't be sure. Just in case you look around in all directions for more. You find another and another until you come up on a grim site in the leaves.
