The Crescent Park hugs the river along the Bywater neighborhood. This strip of land used to be inaccessible to the public, blocked by the train tracks. But then they decided to turn it into a park and they built this big metal arch over the tracks to get to it. Some great views of the city, both from the arch and in the park, plus a small off-leash dog run, and some fancy landscaping. Eventually the park will extend all the way to the quarter.
Cache is not located in the park, so it's accessible even when the park is closed. Plenty of parking. I would also recommend checking out some of the nearby neighborhood hot spots half a block away on Piety - snoballs, pizza, and records!
